Ohh baby. Turkey with the stuffing. Turkey with cranberry sauce. Turkey with some mashed sweet potato. Turkey dripping with gravy and mashed potato. Turkey by itself. Turkey. Turkey. TuRKey. tuRKEY. TURKEY. And with leftovers, turkey sandwiches. Man. So good.

I want to know which of your FOBs had the audacity to eat kimchi with your turkey. BLEEECH. That would be truely blasphemous.

Confused

Ones experience with any dish can be spoiled with a history of bad experiences.

For me, it would have to be the cold-bean-noodle soup that the koreans make. I'm not completely sure what it is made of, but I remember having to reverse swallow it when I was a little kid. I have never eaten it since.

Stuffing that comes out of the cavity is the best way to get some e.coli action in your system so most contemporary kitchens are cooking it on the side. And it soaks up the bird's juices making it drier.

Try brining a turkey overnight. It bolsters the turkey's moisture content quite a bit so that even if you end up overcooking the bird, your chances of getting a decently moist turkey is still good. Incidentally, the dark meat takes longer to cook than the breast / white meat so that's why the prized white meats ends up being something akin to sawdust. Try deep frying the bird. I've been doing this for 3 years in a row and it turns out absolutely perfect, even more so if you brine it before cooking. 3 minutes per pound @ 350 degrees.
