Posted: Thu Oct 21, 2004 6:52 pm Post subject: My RAMEN Challenge |
|
|
So I accept the challenge, and I will document my findings everyday. Do realize that this is my 3rd day...
I fu*kin' love ramen, if it wasn't for the high sodium input, I'd eat 3 servings a day. As a matter of fact, I used to eat 3 servings a day, back in Korea when I was like 10. I can't do that these days though, cuz I end up getting diarreah and I get bloated like that one chinaman who blows up (in the movie Big Trouble in Little China). It's just so good you know? Eat up the noodles, then mix korean rice all up in that bit*h, mmmm....so good.
Anyways, 30 days, 30 ramen, I will document everything. Stay tuned.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Day 1: Ramen type: Shin Ramen
- no log
Day 2: Ramen type: Shin Ramen
- no log
Day 3: Ramen type: Shin Ramen
- just finished my Shin Ramen...it was damn good...mixed the soup with rice, ate it all up. Feel a bit bloated, but I drank 3 bottles of water. You should see my tummy right now, it's big.
Day 4: Ramen type: Shin Ramen
- Ate my Shin Ramen after work, then knocked the fu*k out. MrClowny gave me a call, and I find myself bloated. Oh well, I took a quick shower and went out to ktown to pass out flyers for our Halloween event. Bloating went down around 8pm.
Day 5: Ramen type: Shin Ramen
- First thing I did this morning was cook my delicious Shin Ramen to cure my hangover. Put some egg up in that bit*h and it's all good. This is my 5th day straight eating ramen, and I've yet to see anything strange develop, besides my diarreah runs to the bathroom.
Day 6: Ramen type: Suta-myun Ramen
- Change of scenery, ran out of Shin Ramen, but I have a new box of Suta-myun. It tastes good, I like it, I like it a lot. But what ramen is out there that doesn't taste good, u know? Anways, Day 6 was Saturday, and I ate my ramen and killed the soup around 8pm. INdustry picked me up and we picked up our new ktown associate Andy, and we went down to OC to check out Nex Level's party. It wasn't a pleasant ride for me since I was getting the runs, and I thought to myself maybe I should stop. But once I arrived at the party and got my alcohol fix with mrclowny, it was all good and i felt better. Nex Level packed house, and i finally got to meet the guys from 159 entertainment! we've been doing business over the phone so it was cool to meet them in person. cool people
Day 7: Ramen type: Suta-myun Ramen
- I ate Suta-myun again and looked at the mirror afterwards. I'm fu*kin' fat.
Day 8: Ramen type: Suta-myun Ramen
- Worked 13 hours at work today, didn't get to eat dinner. So you guessed it, I was craving ramen, and ate two today. I'm getting fu*kin' fat.
Day 9: Ramen type: Suta-myun Ramen
- Ate one after work around 7pm. This time, I tried something new. A few have been telling me about adding american cheese into your ramen, and at first I thought that was disgusting. But I figured, hey, I still have many more days of ramen heaven left, so why not? Well I tried it, and it's an interesting taste. It's not that bad actually, it's OK. Some say it's an acquired taste, I say it's ramen with cheese.
Day 10: Ramen type: Suta-myun Ramen
- OMG!!!!! Today by far was the worst experience I had with the runs. I was out on the field all day and I had so many close calls....geez, I'm seriously thinking about quitting...
