Have you guys gone to a ramen house in Little Tokyo called Orochon Ramen? I've been there three time, and it definitely is my favorite place. Their specialty is spicy ramen. There are different levels of spicyness. 7 is the mildest. 6 is a bit spicier, 5 is a bit more spicier, and so on... after 1, there is Special 1 and Special 2, the spiciest. If you finish Special 2 in 30 minutes that take a picture of you and put it up on their wall of fame.
First time I've gone there I tried level 2. Damn, it was burning. I'm pretty good with spicy food, but I was drenched in sweat after finishing it. The next time, I tried level 3. Still burning. The next time level 4, which was enough for me to enjoy the food.
For the people who haven't gone there, I highly recommend this place. For the people who have gone there, what's the highest level of spicyness you've tried? Just writing about this place makes me salivate. Good stuff. |
