Ktown is a great place to hangout and have fun, but it's also known for its drama.
Have you had a night in Ktown you'd like to forget? Talk about it!
-------------------------------------------
For me, it happened at Greenbelt.
We were in a big group, about 10, and this peewee wannabe bald headed gangster kept staring at my friend.
I know I know...such a dumb little thing to get pist off about, but my friend got mad and confronted him.
Then the lil' gangster's friend stood up, and in reaction my friend punched him on the jaw.
All hell broke loose. Out of nowhere a chair flew towards their direction. My other friend was throwing chairs all over the place.
I was trying to break it up. Then the gangster guy kept daring me to do something.
So I started going off. My friends (really buff friends) held me tight so I couldn't move. Then when I got my chance, I broke away from them and ran full speed towards him.
I grabbed a chair myself and chucked it at his face.
Then out of nowhere the waiter busted a superman and flew out of nowhere to block my chairshot.
He blocked it with his forearm. T.T Poor guy...
Anyways, more hell broke loose and the other guys were told to leave.
I hate fighting, I hate confrontations.
So even though this may sound like child's play compared to your murder-in-ktown stories, it was crazy enough for me. _________________

Actually, no... I left the company cuz they didn't give me what they promised.
And now they're offering almost double what I was getting before.
But I'm too happy where I'm at now. _________________

| I was driving down 6th street towards Virgil from about Western. Me and 3 other friends of mine had just finished a night of drinking and had finished eating pho and were headed home. This 16 year old girl in her Celica forgot to check her blindspot and swerved into my lane. So I had to move into the other lane and when I tried to get back into my lane, this drunk korean ajushi was trippin out about why the fcuk did I come onto his lane and sh*t. He was challenging us to fight and sh*t. I was gonna stop the car and whip out my golf clubs, but I had a lady friend in my car that I had no seen in 2 years and did not want to look bad in front of her. |

Here is probably the WORST KTOWN STORY you will hear...
One of my best friends is a girl. Let's just call her S for now. We go wayyy back, and she now lives in NYC. She went there for school... Columbia masters program. A real smart and pretty girl. Knows how to have fun and takes care of her sh*t. Anyhow, she was down in Cali, so we went clubbing together at Bobos for a mutual friend's graduation event. The graduation party group was about 4 guys (most of whom I met for the first time that night) and 8 girls. My close guy friends were all partying at the same club too, and there were like 12 of them in the VIP room.
Well, towards the end of the night... I'm in the VIP room just chillin with the boys... when I get a phone call from my girl best friend. She's crying. I ask her where she is, and she's outside. She said some guy just punched her in the face and her lips were busted open and bleeding. I was like WTF!!! I ran downstairs with 3 of my closest friends with me, and went outside. S was alone, sitting at one of those seats they have outside. I didn't see any guys. I looked at her and her lips were all tore up. I asked her briefly what happened, and she said some drunk guy came up and grabbed her butt. I mean, this girl is no hoochie, so she turned around and started to bit*h at him. And he just laughed at her and then punched her. WHAT A fu*king HOMO. She said the security guards have the guy inside, holding him until the cops arrive, so she can press charges.
After awhile, the guy came out. He was surrounded by the security fools, cause they all knew there were a bunch of guys that wanted to hurt him real bad. The cops were not here yet. When they came out, one of my friends rushed at him and tried to land a shot... but all 4 of the security guys blocked my friend so he couldn't do anything. At that moment, the bastard was sitting on one of those seats, and the security guards were not TOO close. So I ran forward and kicked him in his face. I barely got the shot, cause RIGHT then the security guard tackled me down. I mean, sh*t.. the black security guard was like 2 or 3 times my size! But I knew I connected cause I saw blood spray out of his face.
The security guards were still on top of me, and they were telling me that they're gonna turn me into the cops too. I was thinking that I'm assed out... But right then, a couple waiters I knew came out and got the security to release me. When I was freed, the waiters told me to BONE OUT NOW cause the cops would want me, if the guy that hit my friend told the police about me kicking him in the face.
Anyhow... 2 weeks later, I went back to Bobos for an occasion. The door manager guy was bitching at me for 30 mins... telling me that he was drunk and didn't deserve it and that he had a 2 inch cut by his right eye. F THAT! My best friend didn't deserve to be punched in the face by a drunk guy!
Sorry for the crazy long story... but I will never forget that night. Don't get the wrong idea. I am a lover, not a fighter. I am not a violent guy. I'm the kinda guy that walks away from all that. But just this crazy night... I couldn't control myself. _________________ Silverstone 6MT 350Z... and Shakira's booty!

Here's one of my story...
It was few years back when I was like 18 and there was this club called Koma. (4th & Western) It was my hyoung's bday and there were like 20 heads in our group. Also, there were like 4 more tables who we knew from way back, foos from CYS and AMA. Everybody was going around in different table drinkin'. Since we were at the age where we really didn't give a crap about anything, we drank like there's no tomorrow.
Anyways, one of my homeboy got into a big argument with this foo because they happened to be macking on same girl. When the argument was going on, other guy hit my friend up claiming MO RAE SI GAE from Korea. My friend couldn't take that sh*t and kicked his a$s right at the dance floor. Securities came and broke the fight apart. Fortunately, the security guards didn't throw them out of the club and left them with warning.
My friend was pissed and so were we. Those foos were maddoggin' like if they were gonna do some sh*ts. All of my friends gathered up and decided to take them out after the club. When the club ended, everybody gathered up to front those foo from MO RAE SI GAE. We had few trigger happies who wanted to bring their gat but we refused it. My homeboy just wanted to kick his a$s bad.
When those foos started walking out, my homeboy started rushing that foo and everybody started jumping in. They were in a big group like us, it was like 30 heads vs. 30 heads. The fight was so huge, even securities couldn't stop the fight. So they started locking the gate while they were calling police. Everybody was locked in the club and couldn't leave. People who were fighting were taken in the club by the security guards, basically, locking them in the club. Me and my homies jumped over the fence and boned out. But one of my hyoung got caught by the security guard while jumping over the fence, and he was taken in custody by the police. It was too bad, we couldn't do anything about it.
That night was just crazy and I don't think I will be participating in one of these again. Although we weren't hurt, many close homies got a ticket from police and some were taken to the station because they couldn't control their temper.
Again, this happened when I was in hs days. When I look back now, I was immature and very childish. At least, I learned from my past. |

damn, i'm scared to drink with you guys...
Not really a ktown event, but San Diego instead... Sorry...
When I was 18, at PB Blue, a popular sports bar in the late 90's (Now called Pacific Blue), I went drinking with my hyungs and some of their friends... Some of them brought their girls along... We were having a good time, and the only way I got in was to tip the doorman a hundred bucks, but it was worth it! There were females EVERYWHERE... Ladies Night
so we sat around the corner table and lounge, and grabbed a table... Some mexican dude bumped into my hyung's gf, and made her spill her drink... so of course she got loud, and her friends jumped in, and then the mexican dude's homie g's and ladies came by and started swinging cue sticks at our group of ladies... fu*k, I guess if you mess with one bean, you mess with the whole burrito! sh*t..
so next thing you know, one of the cue sticks breaks over the head of a friend of my hyung, and he pulls out his piece. Next thing you know, we got a group of Koreans pointing their pieces at a group of Mexicans, pointing guns right back at them. My drunk ass gets up off the ground and grabs a pool cue... haha like that was gonna help...
so ODO (Off Duty Officers) were there, and now THEY all had their guns drawn on the group of about 15 heads... hahah 3 PIGS against like 15 gangsters with guns...
Damn bar went silent, and next thing you know, sirens blare in the distance and that's when everyone starts running from the bar...
Everyone from my party gets away fine. Except me. I'm stuck there, cuz everyone jumped into someone's car, but I went back to grab everyone's cigarettes and lighters n sh*t...
Damn. I got questioned by the po's, but since I didn't have a gun, and the ODO's verified that I grabbed a pool cue, I told them that I was just scared and defending myself... and that I came alone by taxi... haha
It worked, and I went home...
Turned out that one of the bitches at the bar that night was an ex of my hyung's friend... He ended up going to jail... everyone else was fine though...
I stopped going to bars with my hyungs after that night... _________________

On the right, is my friend Jason.
Jason's normal expression is a scowl... and when he gets drunk, it turns into a mad-dogging look.
One day, we were at a sool jib, Chu-Ga-Jib on Catalina + 3rd. My fav. place... or at least it used to be, maybe it still is.
Anyway, they have TV's there, up high. There was a group of young thugs there (lots of youngn's there btw), sitting right under the TV. Our group was sitting on the other side of the place.
Jason, was drunk as hell, but he doesn't get violent at all, unless someone attacks him first. Anyway, on the TV's that night, was a Korean TV show, showing games... On the TV it was showing a StarCraft match. Now, Jason used to work at NIX PC BANG and is a StarCraft freak. He's also currently drunk.
So there he is with his maddogging look, looking like he's maddogging those thugs, when in actuality he's just watching the game on the TV. Then he starts pointing at the screen and commenting on the game, still with the scowl on his face.
As we were quite a distance away from the thugs, and the TV was well above them, it seemed as if Jason was pointing at some of the thugs.
Pretty soon, those 17 year old punk bitches started walking over ebonically, and looking angry and saying stuff, complete with hand motions. The whole time, Jason didn't even know they were coming at him, as he kept his eyes on the TV (plus he was drunk). This of course pissed them off even more.
Then they got really close, Jason then *just* noticed and had this confused look on his face, and started squinting his eyes as he always does when he's confused. Of course, to the thugs, it looked like Jason was ANGRY at them.
Just then, the owner of the establishment stopped them from getting any closer. Told them to sit down and relax.
Anyway, NOTHING happened, so I'm sorry to have let everyone down, but this was my wildest night in Ktown, so I had to tell it. _________________ "He that walketh with wise men shall be wise…" - Bible, Proverbs 13:20

My buddies have been into lots of ruckus back in the days, but sadly I'm never there to help. To be honest, I'm not the fighter type but when it comes down to it you got to do what you got to do. I wish I had been there for my friends... _________________

this story is not necessarily about a "bad" night, but drama nonetheless.
a while back, there use to be this club called juliana on sicth and western. now its called bazzi. i had just finished drinking with a couple of my homies and was driving back to st. gregory (our hang out).
so, on my drive, i found myself caught on a red light on the intersection of sixth and western. i was on sixth street going eastbound. while stopped at the light i casually looked over at the parking lot across the club when i noticed someone creepin with a shirt over his head. right when i was thinking wtf, he pulls up an AK and unloads about ten rounds to the club.
i immediately layed low and reached for my gun. (yes, i know. but these were the "wild west days" of ktown, and my mentality was that it was better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it. anyways, it was legit.) i sat up and immediately pointed the gun at the shooter who was now running back to the opposite end of the parking lot. another reason why i pulled out my gun was because the main security guard at the time was a homeboy of mine.
as i was trying to get a good aim, some of the guards and a couple of the patrons as well, pulled out their guns and returned fire. the shooter then turned again to the club and sprayed some more rounds towards the club. while this gunfight was going, i started to wonder where the shooter was running to. i scanned the area when i noticed a beat up old oldsmobile waiting on the back exit of the parking lot with it's back door open. i drew my glock thinking that if i empty my clip into the car, and the shooter has no getaway, he's pretty much f*cked. the moment i was about to pull the trigger, i had this sudden flash of the eternal motto: don't get into other people's bullsh*t.
i looked again to the other side to see if my friend was ok and when i found that he was, shoved my gun back under my seat, and took off.
about a week later i found out that the driver of getaway car was one of my church ajumma's sons. lucky for him and me that i didn't follow through...
