hey you guys.... as a ktown clubber... i've heard and seen a few things that i've disliked. as much as i love ktown clubbing and ktown itself, there's a few things that irritate the sh*t out of me.
1) drunk girls and guys that can't handle themselves... like jailbait kids.
2) when i see my younger sister who is a sophomore in high school getting into k clubs that i frequently visit.
i dont mind these people having their fun, but its pretty fu*ked when i see my younger sister being fondled by guys that are twice her age, and i see her stumbling aroung everywhere.
kclubs let kids in now? lets keep kclub, and clubbing as a whole for those that have at least graduated high school... don't take offense to this, just giving out my two cents. peace. |

| indeed, i have seen many youngins out in the k.club scene. i often wonder to myself how the heck did these youngins get in. for the girls, i am assuming that they got in through their trashy attire and for having their boobs up to their chin. as for the guys, i don't know...i sure don't like it when i booked to a table full of young guys, trying to act like they're cool. i honestly can say that i am not a big fan of youngins at places like that. it's quite annoying when i'm on the dance floor and these young girls bumps into me. so i agree with mizz blow that k.town should be stricter on letting these youngins in. that IS a disappintment... |

Umm, most kclubs now are pretty strict about letting anyone in. Some places now use the little swiper to check the authenticity of the ID's. I think you, mizz blow, better check your wallet to see if your ID is missing! haha j/k, but on a more serious note, most girls I know that are underage are getting in by borrowing their unni's ID's... pretty sad that they wanna live the lifestyle of a kclubber at their age, but to each their own, I guess. I just don't like bumping into these girls on accident when they're drunk, cuz they sure seem to stir up a lot of drama and get loud and such... Yes, it IS quite annoying, but then there are those who are mature enough to handle the clubs... And yeah, i do feel sorry for the guys that get booked with these teenagers. Quite sad, if you ask me... _________________

I agree... I hate to see youngins... like 17 year old girls getting drunk, only to be someone's prey for the night... and 19 year old Thuggies getting into a fight cause they can't handle their liquor.
But... that's how Ktown is. I went clubbing when I was 18... so I won't complain.
That's what Karnak is for! haha. _________________ Silverstone 6MT 350Z... and Shakira's booty!

The new city councilman for much of Koreatown, Martin Ludlow, is vowing to crack down on the number of licensed alcohol establishments, underage drinking, and indoor smoking at public venues in K-town.
I wrote a story about it, here: http://www.lacitybeat.com/article.php?id=42&IssueNum=2 |

| i read the article that dnero posted a while back, and i've heard that martin ludlow has kept num about the issues in ktown. if he's being so strict and sticking to what he has been saying... then why haven't places like chingu closed yet? everyone knows that chingu is infested with minors. and nandarang has started to card those under 21, ktown will always be ktown in the words of mr. electronic. |

yeah, recently i've been seeing MANY MANY youngins out at sool jips and clubs. it can get annoying as hell cus they can't handle themselves correctly. always mouthing off, frontin and sh*t . although it's not right to sell alcohol to young kids but without them, koreatown would never of succeeded. yeah, it's annoying how they're there, but hey! it's helping out the koreatown community . so i guess i really can't say i hate it how i see many youngins at places they shouldn't be at... |

the young ones do annoy me when they cause drama and throw up all over themselves. however, when there isn't drama (which is extremely rare), beer bottles being thrown across the room, dirty, ugly, horny fellas trying to get on a poor little drunk girl, and any sh*t between my friends and myself.... its okay. i gotta agree with what soju gongju said...... people my mother and father's age is no better than those that are the same age as my 14 year old cousin.
kids gotta have their fun too.. maybe ktown should open up like... a cola-tech for the kids that want to get hooched out and grind with their equals or byuntae ajusshis?
as for the alcohol for the kids.... as long as they can handle their shots and stay cool, its good. _________________ love life. live life. |

Under-age drinking will always be negative, but "most" of us have done it in one way or another...
Its just the negative vibes that today's "younger" under 21 Koreans that should be stopped!
