There's a couple of places on my list...
First, I like Bliss...for one thing, people that go there are my age, around mid 20's...so no lil' punks running around...
Second, I like Dit Golmok (Back Alley)...it's very traditional pojangmacha style...purposely designed as an old school hole-in-the-wall joint...again, people in my age group... |

I used to frequent Green Belt a lot.
Then I realized something last night. As me, and J, and a friend were drinking, the people there seemed to be underdressed. Maybe it's that we were overdressed. I dunno. The prices are good at Green Belt, and the music is pretty good too. The food ain't that great, but the Budae Jjigae is... Overall good place to go with a group of friends.
I've been going to Bistro lately, just because the food is pretty damn good. Tofu Kimchi. Highly recommended. AND they have the cool little mini-keg draft beer. Atmosphere is always kinda weird, but one of the waitresses is cute. another
I wanted to check out Bliss... I went tonight, but we ended up going somewhere else. I heard really good things about Bliss, and heard it's a really clean joint. Anyone down to go to Bliss with me this weekend?
SOJU town atmosphere is pretty alright, but it's hella loud in there. Not the music, but the people... I guess it's a good spot to go if you wanna bump into some famous peeps... My hyung's best friends with one of the waiters there, so it's another coo little hotspot. _________________ If you want to feel rich, just count all of the things you have that money can't buy.

just don't order anything that needs carbonation (i.e. soda, rum(or any other alcoholic drink of preference) n' coke, gin tonic) cuz their sodas are all flat!!

OIC.
Anyways.... Let's go on.
Prince (7th & Catalina)- I kinda like this place cuz' it's cool place to chill and absolutely no thugz in sight. Foods are pretty good here especially the 'tong-dak'(supposely one of the best chicken in Ktown). The crowds are bit old, around mid 20's to mid 30's. I say this is perfect place to go after work or perfect place to date. It's not too loud, so you can carry out your conversation without any interference. Overall, I give thumbs up.
Majinga-Z (8th & New Hampshire) - Renovated drinking place where I've visited recently. This place has a nice crowd and there are mucho people here at weekends. Foods are okay here. I really liked spicy tang soo yook and donkatsu pizza. Perfect place to chill and drink with your homies. When I was there, there were gang of girls there. (I just wanted to point that out for guys. )
FOR AFTER HOUR PEOPLE
Rimpokka (Near Beverly & Western)- This is one of the drinking place open til' four in the moring. It gets packed after 2AM since all the alcohlics end up here. Although it's bit ghetto, the crowd is always hyped up.
I will post more later... _________________

Palmtree (Wilshire & New Hampshire)- I only go here when there's special event or I'm with a big group. They got rid of the bowling alley and turned it into a club which made it better. It has dance floor, and it has karoke where people can sing. On the weekends, they provide booking just like other clubs which is pretty cool but only bad thing is that they fockin' charge much as clubs. Other than that, it's coo place to kick it at.
Bleu (6th & Alexandria) - I go here when there's sports events. Perfect place to drink your beer or hard liquor while watching the game with your homies. This place is well decorated and has pretty bartenders. One bad thing is that, sometimes, they don't let you smoke inside the cafe so you have to go outside to smoke. I think they will lose lot of customers for that... _________________

Cafe Bliss. fu*king bomb. I went last night, and I must say that the environment is HELLA chill. Mature audience and classy waiters. Looks tight, subtle on the eyes, music's chill, and the frequents are fu*king HOT! Eye candy to the max. _________________ If you want to feel rich, just count all of the things you have that money can't buy.

I've only been to a few places in Ktown. I've been to Nandarang once, Cafe Bleu once, Pointe a few times...
My favorite place though is Chuh-gah-jeep. 3rd St. between Catalina and I think Berendo. It has this nice "dirty" vibe to it. Like you're at home, or something, or at like a real chuh-gah-jeep. Nice and comfy.
Everytime I go though, I see underage kids. Doesn't bother me, although I do get sick of hearing their dumb stories (they talk really loud sometimes). The girls there aren't really cute. The chairs aren't the most comfy.... The decor ain't that great... The music they play isn't great either...
...but I keep going back. Perhaps it's the nice "homey" feel I get. Perhaps it's because the owners always greet me and offer free food/drinks. Perhaps it's because the valet guy there gives my car priority. Maybe because the waitresses there are nice...
At one point, I was going there at least 3 times/week. It was only about a mile from work, and on the way home, so why not? I'm pretty sure I was their best customer for a period of 3 months or so. Unfortunately, these days I only go once a month, or every 2 months, but I still go, and when I do, I always am treated like family. _________________

let's see...
zip - the outside patio area is nicely decorated with strings of lights hanging overhead. they have live music playing and most of the time it's good, soothing stuff. i've only had lunch there so i'm not sure what the nighttime menu is like but the food is pretty good and the drinks aren't bad either. more than the quality of the food/drinks, the atmosphere is really nice.
blink - the decor is great, service is super but they need some better bartenders up in there. she didn't even know what a grey goose gimlet was! but other than that, it's a nice place to go. always poppin'...on its way to being one of ktown's best hotspots.
pointe - yeah yeah i know i know. everyone hates the place...but how could i hate it when it's like "cheers" to me. well not so much anymore ever since everyone i know quit (wonder why huh?) but i still get hooked up whenever i go. can't beat a night of free drinking, eating and singing.
chin-gu - this place has THE BEST mayo/gochujang dip thing that they serve with cucumbers and carrots. it's so good i go there just to eat that. sometimes i think they get annoyed with me cuz i ask for 10 plates of veggies...but it's good!
nandarang - has decent food but most of all they have a coffee-banana shake that's to die for.
bleu - good food, good crowd, live performances once in a while. good stuff. |

You know, for me, it's a toss up between Bliss and Blink... I like the decor of the seating area at bliss better, but Blink has an AWESOME bar... I've noticed there to be a lot more eye candy at Bliss, however... _________________ If you want to feel rich, just count all of the things you have that money can't buy.
