LALate publishes three online nationally syndicated and branded charts that help rank parties in LA:

b) Saturday

Warehouse Mega Party
So, you are going to go to Vertigos first for $2 drinks on Saturday. Then, after that, your designated driver is going to take you to the biggest darn warehouse party! It's back! If you read our review about the last warehouse party we called perhaps the BEST PARTY OF the year with 20 foot pilars of fire, circus acts, 200 foot tv projections of the acts, belly dancers, fire dancers, and more, well, it's back! At a virgin (meaning never used) venue in Downtown LA.

This event is a private $10 presale. So if you want to go, buy your tickets early! No indicated age limit. The party goes to the last person standing (5+ AM at least). So if you are going out saturday and love something different, head to this mega warehouse party!

When I go out, it's usually deep house events. Like Dynagroove. Some of my fav. DJ's include Francois K, Miguel Migs, Diz, Mark Farina, Louie Vega, David Alvarado, Doc Martin, Frankie Knuckles... etc. Venue style... I've never like clubs. I always preferred the warehouse style parties. The occasional outdoor desert party is cool too, like Moontribe.

Yeah we've had Doc Martin @ Warehouse party during the summer and at Las Palmas.... was very good ... and similar parties.... along with countless (see other threads) over the top warehouse private parties, several this summer alone, one was the 18 hour/ 18 dj party.

You would have like the King King Party last Friday -- same vibe, same music, great crowd. Smile
