Fried Turkey!!!

Someone at work told me about fried turkey in peanut oil being sold at some of the supermarkets, albertsons,vons,etc.
This is the first time Ive heard of it... Anyone on here had it before, what are your ratings? & what supermarket you get it at?

you mean like the whole turkey just dunked into a vat of oil or it chopped up into pieces and fried? it this turkey battered or anything before it is fried?

never had it, can you tell? it doesn't sound terribly appealing to me though. damn i'm mad that i am not having turkey dinner for thanksgiving again this year.

fried turkey in peanut oil keeps the moister inside...and makes sure the fat melts into the meat....causing more flavor along with the fried crispy skin............

we were going to have one this year....but decided to go to a cousin's place for turkey day.....because it'll be less cleaning for us.

i saw it featured on the food network...looks damn good.

believe it or not, but fried turkey actually has less fat as compared to a roasted turkey...

I've had it before and it is good cuz the meet is juicy and the skin crispy
