Who has been your biggest
inspiration?
MJ:
My biggest life inspiration,
hands down, has been my dad.
He's been supportive from day 1 of
my music career without any hesitation.
He was the very first to believe in
me and my passion. He's been
a role model who displayed giving
without expecting anything in return,
unconditional forgiveness, and a daily
life of sacrifice and worship to God.
I love you daddy. My musical
inspirations include Jill Scott, Erykah
Badu, India Arie, Marvin Gaye, Anthony
Hamilton and Musiq Soulchild...people
who share a real story of love and
pain.

Any funny stories growing up,
where people constantly mixed

We switched our class rooms once.
Everybody was giggling except
the teacher. Of course, the teacher
had no idea why the whole class
was giggling. This other time
I broke up with my ex-boyfriend
and I was lonely. And at
that time Lisa just got a new
one. I asked Lisa to give me all
the phone numbers of cute guys
she met once, and I got myself
a nice date and told him I am
not Lisa. He didn�t have
a problem as he didn�t know Lisa
personally. He was glad at least
one of us was available for him,
ha ha.

he's doing. The bartender's name is no other
then HeineKen, a martini aficionado, and
he will fix you up a drink faster than you

every parts of the country, Orchid is definitely
