Note to readers:
Sorry for the slow updates. I am currently experiencing some personal problems
that are rather time consuming. Though I still manage to play on the forums,
updating this column requires much more time and energy than posting. So here’s
a nice big fat update with both old and more recent news.
ENTERTAINMENT:
Bad-ass Takeshi talks about
his role in the film "Blood and Bones" where he plays a Korean living in Japan.
It’s a violent film that depicts a character that goes about his day as a
monster, causing misery to the people closest to him. Sound fun? Probably not
but it’s not completely mindless because it probably will make you think.

Director Ryoo Seung-Wan
with actor Choi Min-Sik and goofy looking brother Ryoo Seung-Bum star in this
boxing movie. It should be good but of course we’ll wait to see it on DVD. (crying
fist website)
Hollywood's Sandra Oh to Star in Korean Production
For all you Korean Pride boys
who like to cry wolf and say that all Asian American women in the entertainment
industry are sell outs, here’s one actress bringing Korea to the silver screen.
Let’s just hope the Yellow Man’s Burden Krew doesn’t cry about the movie making
Korean men look bad because they are stereotyped as being good at math.
Aintitcool’s Harry Jizzes All Over OLD BOY’S
Release in the States:
The poster is pretty ugly but
the trailer is good.

South Korea's First Anime Feature
Sky Blue, Korea’s first-full
length anime feature dazzles with its marriage of computer animation,
conventional two-dimensional cell animation, and filmed sequences. Though the
plot leaves something to be desired and flogs the tired love triangle cliché,
this first effort from Korean animators hints at hope for the future of Korean
animation.
Lee

You don’t really need to read
everything written about her but if you must, go ahead and read the following
articles in order to fully understand her world and those who might suffer like
her. She was experiencing depression that got the best of her and she in no way
deserves to be condemned for that, even if you are a cynic and an ass.
