Q&A: Playboy Sensation Kay Sivilay
Part I: The Interview

Ktown213:  Kay, it's all you. Give us your 30-Second Intro!
Kay Sivilay: Hello Ktown213, I'm Karouna Kay Sivilay, new Playboy model and I'm happy to be here. I'm seeing new things, meeting new people and I'm really greatful for this wonderful opportunity. The best part about traveling to distant places for modeling is trying new foods! I love to cook and better yet, I love to eat. I love to meet new people!  So if you see me, come up and say hi!

KT213:  What made you want to become a model, and how did you get your foot in the door? Tell us about "Kay: The Early Years".
KS:  To tell you the truth, modeling wasn't a life long dream of mine. I accepted the fact that I'd be working in a corporate office somewhere as my career, but a photographer suggested I get into modeling. He even gave me an "evaluation" of my face. So since I've been a big fan of Playboy, and they have some oh-so beautiful pictures and models, I gave it a shot and here I am today! It took off as soon as it started which was about 9 months ago!

KT213:  Less than a year?! Congrats on that!
KS:  Thanks.

KT213:  Now, before we get to the really fun questions, let's do the more informative ones. What are your favorite accomplishments as a model?
KS:  My favorite accomplishments are, of course, getting into the doors of Playboy, and getting a lot of work with them. Another thing is, I am managing myself. I had nobody to "show me the ropes" and so far I've been landing jobs consistently. I've gotten on two magazine covers within 3 months of modeling and I've been to beautiful places like Tahiti, Jamaica and Hawaii.

KT213:  What are some of your current projects, if you don't mind sharing?
KS:  I just shot for a commercial for Hollywood Sports Park. Its to air 200 times in one month as soon as its ready to go. I flew to Chicago just for a club appearance! And the first week of February, I flew to Roatan, Honduras for a photoshoot with Mystique Magazine! Oh and I'm supposed to tour with Hot Import Nights this year to all the major cities in America. KT213:  Any really exciting plans for the future? Where could we expect to see more of you?
KS:  I'll be coming out on Playboy's Special Editions. You know, like "Book of Lingerie" and "Exotic Beauties" and "Nudes". And wherever Hot import Nights is going. I'll be there if I don't have a major photoshoot on the same day.

KT213:  And now the fun questions. Your measurements?
KS:  Ha ha, fun? Such a guy question! My measurements are 34C-23-33 1/2.

KT213:  33 and a HALF? Ha ha, such a girl answer!  OK OK, moving on, on your MySpace profile, it says you're in a relationship. Is this true?
KS:  Awww no sad faces! Yes. I'm in a relationship. And if you meet my guy, you'll see why I'm so committed. He's my best friend and my #1 fan! Its all about trust and friendship. People wonder how he deals with my modeling. We're both very secure with our relationship and with ourselves. We've been together long before I started modeling, so we know where we both stand.

KT213:  That's sweet. So that means no chance in hell for me to get a date with ya, huh? (cheesy smile and a wink)
KS:  Ha ha! No, sorry! But you can hang with me and my friends! I'll cook for you guys!

KT213:  Okay okay, what features in a guy turns you on?
KS:  Hmm. I really like a good sense of humor and chivalry. I love beautiful eyes that just suck you right in. Know what I mean? One look and you're hooked. I like a guy who knows how to treat a lady and one who knows how to have fun. And also, I love a guy with a great sense of style. Most of all, what turns me on is a stimulating conversation.

KT213:  Any turn offs?
KS:  Yeah. Know it Alls and people who constantly talk about themselves are the absolute worst! And I can't stand liars. I can tell when someone is lying to me right off the bat.

KT213:  Ok, just a few more. What nationality are you?
KS:  I'm mixed. I'm Thai, Chinese, Laotion and French. But I was born in Thailand.

KT213:  So you've probably traveled a lot! Well, living in San Diego, you must come to LA often! How many times have you been to Kt-Twn? Any favorite venues?
KS:  I've been there a couple of times to go and eat Korean BBQ. Oh my god I'm hooked! It sucks that I live in San Diego right now.

KT213:  Well, now it's time for the hard questions. Where do you see yourself in five, err, let's make it 6, years?
KS:  You know, with that question, everything changed as soon as I got into modeling. If you were to ask me that 9 months ago, I would probably have said "motherhood and career woman". But now, I'm not so sure. The way things are moving, it looks like I'll be in the entertainment field of some sort in five, err, six years. But no matter what, I'd love to have children someday.

KT213:  If I got up and started dancing to 80's rock right NOW, what would you do?
KS:  I'd dance with you!

KT213:  What about if I turned on some trance? I got some tracks here somewhere...
KS: Make sure its my favorite DJ, Christopher Lawrence! Let me grab my glow sticks! Ha Ha! I can dance to trance all night!

KT213:  Heh, I don't think I could keep up with you! Okay, and most important question: If I offered you 75 cents to get a Henna tattoo of our KTOWN213 logo on your forehead, would you do it? I would have offered you five bucks, but i just got back from Taco Bell.
KS:  75 cents?? That's not even a tip! Can I put it on my arm instead?
